A. Registration is encouraged for website visitors so you can leave reviews and save your favorite listings. Registration is required for business owners to claim and manage listings through the user dashboard.
Q. What is the dashboard and how do I use it?
A. Everyone who registers has access to a user dashboard (must be logged in) where you can change your profile photo and information, see reviews, favorites, etc. If you are a business owner and have claimed a listing, you will see more options on your dashboard such as links to manage your listing, run ad campaigns, respond to user inquiries, view and respond to reviews, and the ability ad announcements, events, coupons, and menus to your listing (note: some options are for premium subscriptions only)
Q. How do I view my dashboard?
A. Once logged in, you can view the dashboard link by hovering over your username at the top right and click dashboard on the dropdown menu. We have also provided a dashboard link on the main menu and bottom menu in case you are on a mobile device that does not display the dropdown menu over your username.
Q. I registered for the website; however, never received a password. What do I do?
A. First, make sure to check the spam and or junk folders associated with the email account you used to register. The email will be sent from nolabeer.com with subject line (Your username and password on nolabeer.com). If you still don’t see it, click the sign in / register button again and then click forgot password. Enter the email address you used to register and click Get New Password to try again. If you still didn’t receive, contact support.

A. Yes, you can search via New Orleans areas and neighborhoods from the home page and from the top of any page.

A. Yes, you can search via business category right from the home page and from the top of any page.
Q. Can I further filter my search?
A. Yes, after clicking the big search button on the main page and you will come to another screen full of listings. You can further filter your search by price, open now, near me, best match and sort by most reviewed, most viewed and highest rated. The search results are based on the listing data entered into each listing and accuracy will improve over time as more businesses update their listings.
Q. How do I view your blog?
A. Nolabeer.com has awesome original content! Go to the “News and Reviews” link on the main menu to view our blog. You can further search via blog categories from the drop down menu or from the blog page’s sidebar.
Q. How do I leave a review for a listing?
A. First, create a free account. Next find the listing you want to review and fill in the appropriate form fields in the “rate us and write a review” section of the listing.
Q. Can I submit a listing that I feel should be in the directory?
A. Sure, we appreciate your bringing to our attention an establishment that should be in the directory. Click on contact support and on the support form their is an option for “suggest a listing”.
Q. Is there a way we can report an issue with a listing?
A. Yes, there is a report link on every listing. You must be logged in with your free account to report the listing. Alternatively, you can click the “contact support” button on your dashboard.

Q. How does the “save” feature work?
A. When you are logged in to your account, if you click the “save” link on a listing, it will appear in your dashboard for future reference.

A. Login into your free account, go to your dashboard, click the “contact support” button and you will be redirected to a support form.
Q. If I own or work at an establishment, can I claim it?
A. Yes, if you own or are authorized by the owner to update the listing, you can claim it.
Q. How do I claim a listing?
A. You must first register for a free account. After registering, login with your account and then click the claim link on the listing you want to claim. Our team will review the claim request and approve within 48 hours.
Q. How do I update the listing after I claim it?
A. After your claim request has been approved, login with your account and go to your dashboard (under your username on the main menu). On your dashboard, you will see a menu to the right. Navigate to the my listings and click on published to bring up a list of your listings. Once you find your listing, you can click the “edit” button to edit the listing, or “change plan” button to upgrade to a premium listing.
Q. How do I upgrade my Free listing to a premium listing?
A. Login to your dashboard and navigate to your listing as stated above. Click the “change plan” button and then “proceed”. Select the desired plan, click “change”, then “pay and proceed”. You will be prompted to select a method of payment.
Q. How do I setup a recurring payment for my premium listing?
A. Navigate to your listing as stated above and when you are prompted to select a payment plan, select “stripe”. Check the box for “recurring payment” and to setup a monthly subscription for your listing. Following setup, you will find a new menu item in your dashboard called “subscriptions” which will let you manage your subscription.
Q. How do ads work?
A. Ads are a great way to promote your listing. There are two types: 1) Details Page Ad (displays your listing on the side bar of other listings), 2) Top in Search (displays your listing at the top of related search results)
Q. How do I run an ad for my listing?
A. Login to your dashboard and navigate to the menu to the left and go to Create Ads> Create New Add, click through the pop up. Choose the type of ad you want to run (details page, top in search) and the desired payment gateway and pay for the ad. Your ad will begin once payment is confirmed and you will now be able to manage your add under “active campaigns” on the dashboard menu.
Q. Can I reply to a review of my listing?
A. Yes, login to your dashboard and navigate to “reviews > reviews received”. Select a particular review and click on the link to reply to the review.
Q. I have a question about my free listing. How do I contact nolabeer.com?
A. Login into your account and click the “contact support” button and you will be redirected to a support form.
Q. Can you, nolabeer.com staff, fill out my listing for me?
A. Yes, if you are a premium or ultimate listing subscriber you get account management support. Login into your account and click the “contact support” button and you will be redirected to a support form. Fill out the form with your desired request and our team will take care of the rest.
Q. Is it important to put my hours in my listing?
A. Yes! This is very important! Users can filter their search by places that are “open now.” Additionally, “open now” will appear on your listing if your listing is open at the time someone is viewing it.

A. Yes! This is very important! Users can filter their search by “price” in addition to appearing on your listing.
Q. I upgraded my listing to the premium and it’s now showing as pending.
